  1. I agree with you about how the meaning behind certain music has changed a lot.

  2. I do agree at how bad hip-hop is nowadays and enjoyed what the American Dream is to you. Only thing is that perhaps don't read directly from the slides.

  3. I liked the presentation a lot since I had already known quite a bit about Motown. I also agree with today's pop music not being up to par with the classics.

  4. This was a good presentation and showed you guys knew the stuff. Both of you guys were very easy to hear and spoke clearly. You gave really good facts and insight into Motown that I myself, and probably some other people had not known. One thing I didn't know was that the founder of Motown Berry Gordy was a boxer beforehand. You guys also did a really good job with relating Motown to the Master Switch. All in all, this was a good presentation and helped me learn a lot about Motown that I had not known before. Good job guys!

  5. I actually learned a lot from your guys presentation especially never after never hearing of Motown. I do believe that Hiphop today is not as good as it once used to be and if Motown was still around I believe the music industry would be a little bit different. The only thing I would have added in your presentation is more pictures to explain some of your ideas better.

  6. I like how you compared music then and now, and also how you compared Motown to the book quite a bit. I never heard of Motown, so you both explained it very well.

  7. While I have heard of Motown I didn’t actually know what it was or what it meant, (Now I Know) and yes music sucks nowadays. (90% repetitive chorus 10% original)

  9. What an all around great presentation! I learned a lot of information particularly on the producer. It's wonderful that he wanted to keep a clean company and that he worked hard to make it what it was. I have no suggestions because your presentation was done very well.

  11. I had never heard of Motown before your presntation. I felt you did an excellent description of it though and new your facts well. It was interesting to hear that they would still support and make records for artists, even if they thought the song wouldnt be a big money maker, or very popular.

  13. We could tell that you guys were really into Motown. You tryed to relate a lot of your information to the master Switch, which was great though I don't know if I agree with all of the comparisons completely.

  14. I really liked your presentation topic. Motown is so iconic and the fact that it sprung up from humble beginings is neat. Also the support given for unknown artists to develop is incredible. We should have more of this in the music industry today.
